Graham Walker is a professional Ornithologist and lecturer and an enthusiastic bird-watcher. He was born in London and studied at King's College, University of London, after which he worked as a researcher for the British Trust for Ornithology and later as a professional naturalist and conservationist for the Yorkshire Naturalists' Trust.
He has an intimate knowledge of the countryside and its wildlife. Now living and working in Wales full time as the director and leader of Cambrian Bird Holidays, Wales has always been a second, now first, home for him, having fallen in love with the Principality as a small boy.
He has a life-long interest in birds and is especially interested in sea birds, birds of prey, birds "difficult to identify" and bird photography. He has a wide knowledge of other branches of natural history such as geology, flowers and butterflies.
